On March 17th and 18th, the final meeting of the MOMENT consortium took place at the GFZ Helmholtz-Centre for Geosciences. Beside the presentation of new research, new ideas and the follow-up project MOMENTplus have been in the focus.

This year, the MOMENT group met at the Telegrafenberg in Potsdam. Before finalizing the project, new and soon to be published studies were presented by the researchers. In addition, first preparations for the follow-up project MOMENTplus, starting in May, were made. Besides the researchers from MOMENT, the scientific advisory board, namely Dr. Eleanor Burke (MetOffice, UK) Prof. Dr. Christina Biasi (University of Innsbruck, AT), Prof. Dr. Bo Elberling (University of Copenhagen, DK) and Prof. Dr. Patrick Crill (University of Stockholm, SE), as well as Dr. Susanne Fretzdorff from Projektträger Jülich took part.
