Subproject 3 (SP 3) focusses on the development of models and the quantification of greenhouse gas fluxes on a panarctic scale. The models of SP 3 model all important biogeochemical processes on panarctic level that are important to reflect the effects of shifts in vegetation on the dynamics of soil carbon
